The Way We Wander - #2
the seasonal depression hits, and in this house, we hit back.
Mind at greener pastures:
This isn't the first or last time you're going to hear me say that where your mind is matters. How do you let your mind wander? Take yourself to a better place. Do not go where you've been a million times before. Take yourself out of these bad replays of your worst offenses. You get your mind to wander by thinking of better places. Lean into your positive what ifs.
Touring Your Own City:
There's nothing to do at home. I've done it all. Have you really? How long has it been since you've tried to see your city with fresh eyes? It's how to have fun where you are. A good time could be a google search away. What are some fun things to do near me? Be a tourist, be cheesy. In case you needed the permission.
This Week's Favs:

NEW YORK TRAVEL VLOG 2021 | eating the best food, autumn walks in Central Park & lots of shopping! — www.youtube.com
Makes a girl love her city that much more.
Got me thinking:
The least intimidating change in perspective:
A lot of the time, we have a way of forgetting where we really are. We get lost in the ins and outs of our days. A regular day in New York City, a regular day in LA, a regular day in Texas or Arizona.
This is the remedy to seeing your own life outside yourself a bit. Pretend you're a tourist. Look up hotels near by. Go to the restaurant you've never tried.
This doesn't have to be revolutionary. It has to be intentional.
Accounts to see:
She has the cutest heart shaped totes that just sold out! She let me know more is coming!!
We love a NYC business woman!

This is a Jackie Aina appreciation post. If you don't know auntie, you should.
She's so true with who she is and her community is so welcoming in my experience.
An amazing woman.
Truly love to see it:
