Let's go over this again: you don't need to enjoy cooking to enjoy food!!

Understanding Your Relationship With Food:

Give yourself a chance to figure out what your real relationship with food is. Do you have "cheat" meals? Do you feel like healthy food associates you with people that have a snobbish attitude? Prioritize being aware of your food habits without demonizing yourself.

Food + Instant Gratification:

Something about cravings make me feel guilty and equally enraged. Why is there so much guilt around food? Food is meant to be enjoyed and meant to serve our bodies. Why only populate our minds with extremes?

Cooking vs Therapy?

Why is there a general impression that in order for you to love food, you have to be able to cook what you love to eat? Not every food that could be enjoyed should come with so much heavy mental labor.

Should feeding you be someone else's responsibility? No.

Should you feel guilty when you don't cook? Also no.

This Week's Favs:

Domino's pizza.

Fast food gets a bad rep, and there's no denying that it isn't optimal for your health. Moderation makes space for happiness. Have a slice of happy this week.

What I've been doing:

As of late, I've been slowly down and really taking in my meals. Attempting to pry away from screens at meal time.

Got me thinking:

I'm comforted by watching tv or YouTube to keep my brain wired on something. When all my real gems and moments of joy are usually hidden in my boredom. Food and boredom shouldn't occupy the same space.

Truly love to see it:
