Fashion changes with you. The power of being comfortable in your own skin,in your own clothes.

Your brand of cute/pretty/etc:

You owe none of it to someone else. Not to your significant other, not to your parents. The only one that needs to be sure that you feel good in the clothes you wear is you. Please stop making excuses to why it is you're not allowed to feel good.

Attacking your closet:

*cue horror music* its okay, it won't bite..

I could bet there's pieces in your closet that are less than your favorite right next to your go to daily combo. Opening your closet could feel like just another series of choices you need to make. Relieve this by attacking your closet! One day (or make it more than one day) take everything out. Everything.

Come up with a closet killer playlist on Spotify to refer to at this moment.

and dig in.

You'll come out on the other side with something that sorta makes sense to your brain. Maybe even motivating you to keep it maintained a little longer than last time.

Unpacking the feeling of a good fit.

Got me thinking:

Fashion has such a big role to play in how we look at ourselves. I'd argue even more so how we see ourselves. We're quick to tell ourselves "what does it matter" or "it's so frivolous to care so much about what we wear". Feeling good about yourself doesn't make you a narcissistic butt hole. Please direct me at anyone making you feel that way. I will send a very strongly worded email :)
