When you put on something and let all the other influences fall to the wayside? In a lot of ways, you come to life.

Have you started your basics, besties? It feels like such an overwhelmingly simple thing. These are going to be your blueprint. It's a personal experience. Your building blocks to feeling good about what you put on every day. Setting up a piece of your day that you have full control over.

It's got me thinking...

Is the pandemic starting to blur the lines of fashion by attempting to make it accessible? The industry may well be shooting itself in the foot with fast fashion having not only an impact on how we feel about ourselves but the impact on the planet and our wallets as a whole.

A capsule wardrobe has the potential to pose the opposite problem, why box ourselves into something meant to give us a place to start.
